Shakespeare's Plays (1590-1612)

Hey everyone. I felt an important point that Prof. Little made in class was the years in which Shakespeare wrote his plays. If anyone missed the dates, he wrote MOST of his plays between the years 1590 and 1612. What is significant about those years is that he wrote half of his plays under the reign of Elizabeth I and the other half under the reign of James I (the break year was 1603). A point Prof. Little made that we should take note of is that Shakespeare wrote mostly romantic comedies under Elizabeth I and namely tragedies under James I.
